Although I'm not your average spring breaker I can say that just going home and visiting friends was even as exciting as going to Cancun or South Padre Island. This Spring Break was basically the best one I've ever had throughout my college career. This Spring Break, I went to Chicago, hung out with my family, went to a graduate school open house, went to a play, marched for Trayvon Martin, did a lot of graduation stuff, and for the last part of Spring Break I went to visit my bestfriend at her school. Seeing as how she has been to mine twice I had to make a visit to check her out before graduation. This visit was very interesting to say the least, being in Kansas so long I was pretty shocked to see so many black folks all in one place, it kind of made me feel like I've missed out on fun throughout my college experience but hey that's for another post. However, overall my Spring Break was pretty busy but, relaxing and fun as well. Now it's crunch time, there is only 5 more weeks to shift my gears into grind mode. Some one please hand me a 5 hour energy and Jesus because I'm going to need both.
